TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – X BRICS Youth Summit in Ulyanovsk will bring together young leaders of developing countries from 22 to 26 July.

The presentation of the X BRICS Youth Summit, which will be held in Ulyanovsk from 22 to 26 July, took place at the Russia exhibition at VDNKh. The meeting was moderated by Diana Kovela, Deputy Head of the Russia-BRICS Project Office for International Youth Cooperation.

The presentation was attended by authorities of Russian foreign missions, specialists in international relations, and future diplomats, students of Russian universities.

"It is no coincidence that this year Ulyanovsk was repeatedly chosen as the venue for the summit, as it has everything necessary to organize a meeting of young leaders at a decent level. I ask everyone who considers themselves an active young leader to fill in the questionnaire for participation in the summit without putting it off. Registration will last until 10 June,"  Diana Kovela, Head of the Project Office, addressed the participants of the presentation.

Tatyana Ivshina, Head of the Project Office, Executive Director of the Creative Industries Foundation of the Ulyanovsk Region, told the participants what the summit program will consist of. Valeria Chernogorodova, Head of the International Activities Division of the Youth Projects and Programmes Directorate of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, told about Rosmolodezh's cooperation with the BRICS countries and plans for the year. Kira Ivanova, Project Office Coordinator, shared the experience of successful 2024 projects with the audience.

"The Ulyanovsk region has the infrastructure to realize events of this scale, and the experience of previous years proves it. Our region is unique of its natural component. We are the Motherland of talents and we are proud of our history," said Artem Miroshnikov, Minister of Youth Development of the Ulyanovsk region. He added that international events in the region are held with the direct participation of Governor Aleksey Russkikh.

On 3 April, registration for the BRICS Youth Summit started. It will bring together young leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and will be an important event on the agenda of Russia's BRICS Chairmanship in 2024.
