TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is on a visit to Doha, has met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani for talks on the Gaza war.

The two officials met a few hours after Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Qatar’s capital on Monday afternoon.

Talks on the Gaza crisis focus on a host of issues including a permanent ceasefire in the besieged Palestinian territory, a stop to Israeli crimes against Palestinians there as well as sending humanitarian assistance to Gazans.

Qatar is the third and final leg of the top Iranian diplomat’s regional tour that began on Friday and earlier took him to Syria and Lebanon.

Regional developments, including the Gaza war, as well as bilateral relations were on agenda of Amir-Abdollahian’s negotiations in Syria and Lebanon where he met government officials and resistance leaders.
