TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (MNA) – The United States and the United Kingdom have carried out a fresh round of airstrikes against Yemen.

Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV channel reported on Saturday that the Ras Isa terminal in the Red Sea port of Al-Hudaydah was targeted by US and UK airstrikes.

The airstrikes came a day after the Yemeni armed forces targeted a British oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden after transiting the Red Sea as part of their campaign of support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

The US and the UK have launched multiple rounds of strikes against Yemen since the country’s armed forces began attacking Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea in mid-November.

Earlier in the day, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that it had conducted a new strike hitting an anti-ship missile of Yemen’s Ansarullah.

In a post on X, CENTCOM alleged that the anti-ship missile was aimed into the Red Sea and ready to launch.

Yemen has vowed to continue with its attacks in the Red Sea until the Israeli regime halts its genocidal war in the besieged Gaza Strip.
