TEHRAN, Jan. 24 (MNA) – North Korea fired several cruise missiles into the Yellow Sea on Wednesday morning, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

“Our military detected several cruise missiles launched by North Korea towards the Yellow Sea at around 7:00 am today [22:00 GMT on Tuesday],” UPI News reported citing the JCS statement.

“The detailed specifications are being closely analyzed by South Korean and US intelligence authorities.”

"Our military has strengthened surveillance and vigilance, is cooperating closely with the US, and is monitoring additional signs of activity from North Korea," the brief statement added.
