TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (MNA) – The head of the media organization of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement says US attacks on Yemen’s missile launch sites were unsuccessful and Washington failed to achieve its goals.

Speaking with Al Araby news channel on Saturday, Nasreddin Amer said the Yemeni forces have preserved their strength and are capable of targeting Israeli and American ships.

He said that international shipping is completely safe for ships sailing in the Red Sea that are not linked to the Israeli regime, asserting that the Yemeni armed forces will not target them.

The response to the US aggression will be through land and sea, he said, adding that it was Washington that violated international law in order to protect the interests of the Zionist regime during the war in Gaza.

US and UK forces launched air, ship and submarine strikes against Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters early on Friday, allegedly targeting their weapons storage, air defense, and logistic facilities.

The US conducted a new missile strike on Yemen on Saturday morning, with the Pentagon saying the attacks targeted a radar site in the capital Sana’a in response to the Arab country’s pro-Palestinian operations in the Red Sea.
