TEHRAN, Jan. 09 (MNA) – A training plane in Iran's Alborz Province in the north went missing from radar on Tuesday.

"Today, this plane took off from Azadi Airport in Nazarabad city, and after 2 hours, it did not respond to the calls of the control tower.," an informed source told Iranian media.

"The search and rescue operation continues to find the passengers of this plane," the source added.

According to some unofficial sources, a part of the plane's body were seen near the village of Sefidark in the area of Savojbolagh
county, but due to the fact that the region is mountainous, it has not been possible to reach the site of the crash.
