TEHRAN, Jan. 1 (MNA) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has announced an attack on Eilat city in the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.

According to Al-Mayadeen TV network, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq issued a statement on Monday morning, declaring that their forces used appropriate weapons to target Eilat city in response to the Israeli regime’s war crimes against the Gaza residents.

This strike happened following a drone attack on Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights, a rocky plateau in south-western Syria, which is under the occupation of the regime.

Furthermore, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the Harir military base occupied by the United States military forces in Erbil province, northern Iraq, on Sunday.

Since early Sunday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq intensified its strikes, hitting American military bases in Harir city of Iraq’s Erbil province, al-Ramilan military base in eastern Syrian governorate of Al-Hasakah, US base at Koniko natural gas field in the northeastern Syrian governorate of Deir Ez-Zor, a military base in the US-occupied Al-Omar oilfield, and Kharab Al-Jeer military base in Syria’s Al-Hasakah Governorate.
