Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah was 86.
A couple of weeks ago, Sheikh Nawaf was admitted to a hospital due to an emergency health issue but it was later declared that his condition stabilized.

TEHRAN, Dec. 16 (MNA) – The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, passed away, the state's Amiri Diwan announced on Saturday.
