TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (MNA) – The Yemeni information minister in the National Salvation Government stressed that the country’s Armed Forces are fully prepared for any possible military scenario, after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's threats.

“We stand ready to confront any military action against ourselves,” Dhaifullah al-Shami stated late on Saturday.

He added that Yemeni forces have employed anything at their disposal in solidarity with their Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip.

“Any ship that seeks to deliver a consignment to Zionists will be in our crosshair,” Shami pointed out.

According to a report by Zionist regime media outlets, Netanyahu has told Biden that the Israeli regime will act militarily against Yemen's Ansarullah if the US fails to adopt any action.

The Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October.

On December 4, the Yemeni army targeted two Israeli ships in the Red Sea as they were attempting to cross the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Reports have shown that Israeli shipping companies have already decided to reroute their vessels in fear of attacks by Yemeni forces.

Yemeni forces have also launched missile and drone attacks on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine after the occupying regime’s aggression on Gaza.
