The bus overturned at the entrance road to the Chivay district at about 11:00 p.m. local time Friday (0400 GMT Saturday), Xinhua reported citing the Peruvian police.
Five people aboard the vehicle died on the scene, Radio Programs of Peru reported.
The injured were hospitalized and authorities have initiated legal procedures to determine the causes of the accident.
