TEHRAN, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Iran has made a five-place jump in the November rankings of the world’s football body FIFA, excelling the Asian teams with 716 points.

 

Iran lies in the 38th spot of the world standings while Australia is in the 39th place with 703 points, Uzbekistan in the 45th with 645, Japan in the 47th on 630, and South Korea in the 49th with 569.

 

Winning 1,588 points, Brazil has extended its lead over the World Cup holder Italy that has 1,560 points.

 

Argentina has moved up to third from fourth with 1,551 points, leapfrogging France, which has collected 1523 points.
