The Government’s Media Office there released the figures on Wednesday, saying that the toll includes 6,000 children and 3,920 women.
It said that more than 7,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, remain unaccounted for.
Also on Wednesday, the Israeli regime announced the death of one of its soldiers in ground fighting in Gaza, which brings to 72 the number of Zionist forces so far killed in the ground operation.
The death also brings to 392 the total number of Zionist troops killed since the war began.
