Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Prime Minister of Afghanistan's caretaker government, thanked the honorable people of Iran for their hospitality and emphasized the development of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, especially the activation and operationalization of the transit sector, Chahahar port and cooperation in the field of air transport.
Announcing the commitment of the Afghan side to the implementation of treaties between the two countries, especially in the water sector, he considered the economicization of the borders and joint investment in this relation to benefit the interests of the two countries.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar pointed to Afghanistan's determination to fight terrorism and reassured about the security of the borders and stated, "Afghanistan will not be a threat to any of its neighbors."
In the end, he thanked and appreciated the assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the people of Afghanistan at different times, especially during the two periods of Jihad.
