TEHRAN, Nov. 04 (MNA) – Israeli warplanes bombed a school in northern Gaza City, leading to dozens of deaths and injuries, the Gaza Health Ministry said.

Xinhua reported citing the Gaza Health Ministry on Friday that the Zionist regime bombed the Osama Bin Zaid School in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, north of Gaza City, which houses displaced Palestinians.

The ministry added that ambulances and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and the victims were transferred to hospitals.

Thousands of Palestinians currently take refuge in UN and government schools in Gaza after Israel launched its retaliatory attacks last month.

The Israeli regime has been attacking Gaza in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on October 7, which was in response to decades-long violence against Palestinians and recurrent incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque.

The conflict between the Zionist regime and Hamas has killed more than 9,200 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, mainly civilians and at least 1,400 Zionist soldiers and settlers, according to official figures from both sides.
