TEHRAN, Oct. 17 (MNA) – A deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says that the Israeli regime will face another shockwave by the Resistance front if its atrocities do not stop in the Gaza Strip.

"The Resistance front's shocks against the Zionist regimes will continue until this cancerous tumour is eradicated from the world map," said Brigadier General Ali Fadavi.

"Another shockwave is on the way if Israel does not end atrocities in Gaza," he stressed.

His comments came as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with a group of Iranian elites and top scientific talents on Tuesday said that if Israeli crimes against Palestinians in Gaza continue, no one can stop Muslims and Resistance forces.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that Muslim nations are angry at the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

On October 7, Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm deep into the territories occupied by the Israeli regime. The operation involved large-scale air, land, and sea strikes.

The group said the operation was a reaction to the recurring desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds as well as intensified Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

High-ranking officials of the Zionist regime acknowledged that this operation commenced with high confidentiality of the operation information and adhered to the principle of surprise attacks.

Israel responded with intensive air strikes on civilian targets in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 2,866 Palestinians in Gaza and wounding some 12,000 others, according to the territory’s health ministry.

The regime has also intensified the siege of Gaza, leaving the city, home to more than 2 million Palestinians, without water, electricity, fuel, and internet.
