TEHRAN, Oct. 15 (MNA) – Egypt's National Security Council held an emergency meeting today under the chairmanship of Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Ahmed Fahmy, the spokesman of the Egyptian presidency announced that the process of developments in the region, especially the developments in Gaza were discussed in this meeting.

The continuation of consultations with international and regional partners in order to de-escalate the tension and stop the attacks on civilians, and intensive consultations with international and regional organizations in order to optimally send aid were emphasized in this meeting.

Further in the meeting, the Arab country's opposition to the forced evacuation policy was emphasized.

Egypt declared its readiness for any effort to establish a ceasefire and resume the real reconciliation process.

Egypt's National Security Council stated that Egypt's national security is a red line and there will be no hesitation in supporting it.
