TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (MNA) – At least seven tornadoes have touched down in Michigan as part of severe storms powered by strong winds that killed five people.

The storms downed trees, tore roofs off buildings, and left hundreds of thousands of customers without power.

The US National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-2 tornado with winds of 200 kilometers per hour struck the state capital of Lansing on Thursday night, killing one and injuring three.
