Mohammad Yavari, head coach of the team, said his side now comprises 20 players.
“This is the first time in the country that the under-12 footballers form a team,” said the manager adding, “The team is the outcome of four-year efforts made by the Football Federation’s Youth Committee and provincial boards.”
Five players are dropped by Sunday (June 22) and the team leaves for the Georgian city where the teams of Turkey, Croatia, Russia, Greece, Romania, and host Georgia compete, said Yavari.
