In a statement, the military said its Bell 412 helicopter was on a training mission to support an infantry battalion when it crashed in a village in the Rancabali district, Bernama reported.
The helicopter was destroyed in the accident but all passengers and the pilot escaped the wreckage and were taken to a local hospital in Cimahi.
