TEHRAN, Jan. 22 (MNA) – A plane of the Irish airline Ryanair, flying from Poland, reported a bomb on board and heads to Athens International Airport accompanied by Greek F-16 fighter jets.

Greek warplanes were scrambled on Sunday to escort a Ryanair flight from Poland to Greece with over 190 people on board after a bomb alert was reported to authorities, a defence ministry source said, according to AFP.

The plane landed at Athens International Airport shortly before 1600 GMT and was under inspection by a bomb disposal team, state news agency ANA said.
