TEHRAN, Sept. 3 (MNA) – Fatemeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairwoman of Women Solidarity Association of Islamic Republic of Iran was appointed as the Iranian honorary Governing Board member of the Eighth World Assembly of Religions for Peace (WARP) which was held in Kyoto last week.

The Eighth World Assembly of Religions for Peace which was held in the presence of 800 world religious leaders for four days concluded its work last Monday issuing its final statement.

 

The 24 honorary Governing Board members of the council, from different world religions, were elected by the attendants last week. Hashemi is one of the six Muslim members of the board.
