It is home to over 12,000 books in English, German, French, Italian, and Russian, 6,000 in Persian and Arabic, 200 titles in specialized writings and 5,000 in history, geography and science, 700 handwritten manuscripts, 400 historical documents, 30 stone tablets, and over 100 historical handwritten chronicles.
As an important center for archaeological studies, the library has regular contact with museums and universities all over the world.
