TEHRAN, Jul. 17 (MNA) – The Croatian coach Dragan Skocic will keep his job as the head coach of the national football team of Iran, according to the decision of the Iranian Football Federation on Sunday.

The Croatian coach Dragan Skocic, who had been sacked as Iran National Football Team coach a few days ago has now been reported to have been re-appointed by the Iranian Football Federation.

The Iranian football authorities were holding a session to decide on whom to lead the national football team known as Team Melli in Iran before the upcoming Qatar World Cup and finally decided to keep Skocic in the post.

The latest reports suggest that today's federation's decision would not mean that the Croatian coach will lead the Iranian team in the world cup and he will be in the post until 44 days later when the federation will convene for another meeting.
