A member of Tehran Stock Market Council (TSMC) Heydar Pouriyan told Mehr News Agency, "Supervising stock market transactions, preventing insider trading and stock price manipulation, enhancing share-ownership and supporting initiatives to invest in the secondary market are all among the duties of the stock market supervisory board.
Pouriyan added that three capital market experts will be introduced to the TSMC as members of the stock market supervisory board.
Expertise in financial and legal matters for the board is a must, he acknowledged.
