KARBALA, Jan. 24 (MNA) – Thousands of Shia Muslims gather in the holy city of Karbala every weekend to pay homage to Imam Hussein, the third Shia Imam, and his half-brother, Abbas ibn Ali, who made great sacrifices during the Battle of Karbala to protect the imam and his family.
