TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) – Alireza Motamedi’s debut feature ‘Reza’ has won the 15,000 Euro Ciné+ Distribution Support Award at the 33rd Entrevues Belfort film festival in France.

Through its First Films International Competition (from 1st to 3rd film), the Entrevues Belfort is dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers. 

‘Reza’, which is Alireza Motamedi’s debut feature, has won the 15,000 Euro Ciné+ Distribution Support Award at the French festival, running from 17-25 November 2018.

The feature narrates the story of a divorced guy (Reza) who is trying to adopt to his new life after divorce while he finds a new romance.

Hollywood Reporter has described the film as “an utterly relaxed take on modern marriage and romance laced with the poignant ironies of a Woody Allen comedy.”
