TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) – Alireza Motamedi’s debut feature ‘Reza’ will be screened at the 33rd Entrevues Belfort film festival in France.

Through its First Films International Competition (from 1st to 3rd film), the Entrevues Belfort is dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers.

‘Reza’, which is Alireza Motamedi’s debut feature, has made it into the screening program of the French festival, scheduled for 17-25 November 2018.

The festival hosts sessions in the presence of filmmakers and guests. Motamedi, however, has been denied a visa by the French government and cannot be present at the screening of his film at this international cinematic event.

‘Reza’ narrates the story of a divorced guy (Reza) who is trying to adopt to his new life after divorce while he finds a new romance.

Hollywood Reporter has described the film as “an utterly relaxed take on modern marriage and romance laced with the poignant ironies of a Woody Allen comedy.”
