Pairing up Hatemi and Maadi 7 years after Asghar Farhadi's 'A Separation', 'Bomb: A Love Story' takes place in 1988 and is a story of love and hope in the relentlessly bombed Tehran during the last days of Iran-Iraq war.
Maadi and Leila Hatami, two of the most distinguished actors of Iranian cinema, attended the festival as guests.
While receiving the award at the closing ceremony at Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall on Saturday, Maadi said he was happy to be in the lovely city of Istanbul, expressing hope for a movie cooperation in this city in the near future.

The head of the jury panel, Parviz Shahbazi from Iran, awarded the Best International Feature Film Prize to ‘Screwdriver’ by Palestinian director Bassam Jarbawi.
A total of 88 movies by 90 directors from 41 countries were showcased at the 9th edition of Istanbul’s 6th International Bosphorus Film Festival, held on Oct. 26 to Nov. 3 in the Turkish city.
