TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) – Iranian Parliamentary Director General for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has condemned the killing of peaceful Shia Nigerians by the army.

“The massacre of peaceful marchers attending Arbaeen procession is by no means justifiable,” Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a tweet on Tuesday, few days after the killing of 16 Shia marchers by the Nigerian army in Abuja on Saturday.

The Iranian official further describes the leader of  Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) Ibrahim El-Zakzaky as “the most democratic Islamic leader who defends humanity.”
