TEHRAN, Nov. 13 (MNA) -- The Tehran International Conference on Religion and Media opened today at Tehran University.

Conference participants are discussing ways to establish logical relations and interactions between religion and the media and seek to promote the theoretical and practical knowledge of religious media; gain a better understanding of the relationship between religion and media; and study the problems of the media in Iran and the rest of the world.

 

Papers such as “The Decline of Secularism and the Media”; “Mediazation of Religion”; “Religion, Media, and National Identity”; and “The Purification of Contemporary Culture” are being presented at the conference, which runs until Tuesday.
