JAKARTA, Sep. 02 (MNA) – The one-day sambo event of 2018 Asian Games was held on September 1. Originated from Russia, sambo is an acronym for Samozashchita Bez Oruzhiya, which literally translates as "self-defense without weapons". The sport is a combination of judo, wrestling, jujitsu, boxing and some other martial arts.
