Russia has always attached great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran in its foreign policy, Jagarian opined.
He went on to say that excellent relationship between Iran and Russia is in favor of global peace and stability, so that amicable ties between the two countries are a barrier against US unilateral behavior.
Fortunately, constructive talks have been launched between senior officials of the two countries in various levels for evermore expansion of bilateral relationship, he emphasized.
For his part, Iranian Parliament Director General for International Affairs Amir-Abdollahian pointed to the amicable and friendly relationship between Tehran and Moscow in recent years and said, “high-profile meetings between political and parliamentary officials of the two countries coupled with increased volume of trade exchanges between Iran and Russia is a solid evidence for the said claim.”
Amir-Abdollahian referred to the US measures for increasing pressures on the Islamic Republic of Iran and said, “US has spared no efforts to deviate public opinion in Iran, so that Iran has made it utmost effort to restore peace and stability in the region and world in particular.”
He went on to say that US policy to prevent Iran from exporting oil has failed.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian pointed to the expansion of bilateral communications and relationship between the two countries in all fields and emphasized on taking advantage of supervisory capacity of parliaments of the two countries in the course of boosting and broadening ties.
In conclusion, the two sides evaluated political trend and fighting against terrorism in Syria ‘positive’ and emphasized on the political solution in Yemen.
