TEHRAN, Jul. 08 (MNA) – Some MPs in Iranian Parliament have talked of a comprehensive plan prepared by the Parliament’s Research Center to prevent the US sanctions from affecting Iran’s economy.

The plan is prepared through the efforts of the Parliament’s Research Center in cooperation with Iranian research and academic centers.

The prepared program has now been handed over to the lawmakers as well as the three branches of the government.

It has also been reported that business activists’ advices have also been taken into account and the package has so far been substantially or partially edited seven times, and is presented to some domestic research centers and has continuously been under revision.

The comprehensive package suggests ways to make Iran’s economy immune against anti-Iran US sanctions.

The package, firstly, suggests ways to confront the gradual weakening of the Iranian economy as it is proposed by the 90-day and 180-day US sanctioning plans by offering strengthening economic, infrastructural, as well as social and cultural programs.

Secondly, the Parliament’s plan has categorized specific pressure tools including nuclear, security and political ones in certain periods of time based on the threats. Certain waivers have also been taken into account that can be extended, suspended or cancelled according to Iranian officials’ discretion.

The comprehensive plan has been scheduled for different time spans of 90 to 120 and 180 to 210 days and includes a range of chapters on monetary, banking and currency, as well as the cash management and prevention of speculative activities in the financial markets, optimal management for foreign currencies reserves, facilitating financial transactions in international arena, and reducing the need to use intermediary currencies, strategic goods, resources and public spending, energy, business, trade, structural, cultural, social and media, and ultimately legal sectors.
