“European companies, despite their countries’ claims, are leaving Iran, and this shows that the Europeans are pretending to be trying to preserve the JCPOA and to be abiding by the deal,” Hossein Naghavi Hosseini told Mehr News Agency correspondent on Saturday.
The Iranian senior lawmaker called for resuming uranium enrichment, stressing “the Europeans cannot resist the US pressures.”
He touched upon Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi that had said yesterday Iran could withdraw from the JCPOA in the coming weeks and the JCPOA was in intensive unite care, saying that his words showed the Europeans are not abiding by their commitments.
He called on the government officials to prepare themselves for declaring exit from the nuclear deal, stressing that the exit must take place based on retaliatory actions.
