TEHRAN, May 25 (MNA) – Iranian president’s political deputy said on Friday that if Europeans do not deliver concrete guarantees, Iran will consider other options, adding one-sided JCPOA implementation does not make sense to Iran.

Majid Takht-Ravanchi, who also was a senior negotiator in the talks which led to the signing of the Iran nuclear deal with the world powers known as the JCPOA, said on Friday that after the United States announced its withdrawal from the nuclear deal, the Iranian president gave the ongoing Iranian talks with Europe weeks not several months to reach a conclusion, stressing that the Europeans have limited time to keep the accord alive.

According to Iran's state TV 'IRIB', Takht-Ravanchi also said basically when Iran fully abides by its commitments, all sanctions need to be lifted in order for Iran to rejoin the world economy.

He said that for example with regard to Iran’s sale of oil, there were restrictions and sanctions but after the sanctions were lifted, the oil export returned to normal.

He added that If the US sanctions are reinstated and Iran cannot continue its oil export, then it is up to Europe to guarantee the Iran’s oil sale, stressing that the Europeans must deliver concrete guarantees to Iran.

The former senior nuclear negotiator went on to say that Iran will not stay in JCPOA under any circumstances, saying that Iran cannot accept new restrictions outside the deal.

The Iranian official said that if the other side does not abide by its commitments, Iran will have other options, without elaborating more on them.

He said that China and Russia’s stances are clear while the stances of the European signatories of the deal are vague.
