“We will not allow Americans’ animosity against Iran to damage the JCPOA or the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday.
The Iranian senior diplomat made the remarks after meeting with Vincenzo Amendola, Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in Rome.
“The current sensitive situation, in regards with regional issues, the JCPOA, and the underway new decisions, requires that we constantly keep in touch with different countries, especially the Europeans which are connected with the issue of the JCPOA and international issues,” reiterated the Iranian diplomat.
“In the past couple of days I have been in different European capital cities and today I am meeting my Italian counterpart and after that I will go Brussels, Oslo, and finally New York to join Dr. Zarif,” said Mr. Araghchi.
