TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – Francesco Rocca, the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the President of Italian Red Cross, arrived in Tehran this morning.

IFRC President has arrived for a two-day visit. He is scheduled to meet and talk with Prof. Ali Asghar Peyvandi, the President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) to discuss IRCS operations on national and international disasters.

Mr. Rocca will also meet with IRCS youth, converse with them to learn about their activities.

IFRC President in the second day of his visit to Iran will participate in a ceremony which is to be held for respecting the dedication of IRCS volunteers and relief workers.

Mr. Rocca will have a press conference in Tehran and visit Iranian Red Crescent Museum of Ali Akbar Sanati.
