GORGAN, Mar. 10 (MNA) – In Mazanderani culture, typical to the northern parts of Iran, there is a ritual called 'Nowruz Khani' which is held about fifteen days before spring and the New Year holidays arrive, where groups of singers go door-to-door while singing in praise of spring to receive sweets, eggs, peas, and other types of food from neighboring households.
