THE HAGUE, Dec. 03 (MNA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Fayssal Mikdad met the Chairman and the Board of Directors of the National Committee for Syrian Expatriates in the Netherlands.

During the meeting, which took place on Saturday at the Permanent Mission of Syria in The Hague, Mikdad talked about the current situation and developments in Syria after the achievements made by the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against terrorism.

The Deputy Foreign Minister said that no one is allowed to undermine the unity of Syria’s land and people, stressing that the Syrians support their leadership and their army which will fulfill victory over terrorism and will put an end to the plans of the West and its allies in the region.

Mikdad added that the Syrian government is very interested in the efforts exerted by the Syrian expatriates to defend their homeland and their people and to convey the truth about Syria in the countries in which they live.

He also stressed that the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry is committed to following up on their affairs, confirming the Ministry’s readiness to secure all their needs through the Syrian embassies and consulates.

For their part, Chairman of the Committee Malik Samuel and the Board of Directors members confirmed their commitment to their homeland, stressing that they have been working hard for years to convey the truth about the Syrian war against terrorism, shedding light on their contributions in the humanitarian and relief fields, as well as expressing their full readiness to support Syria by providing new investments and participating in the reconstruction process.
