TEHRAN, Dec. 02 (MNA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Greece on Dec. 7-8, the presidency's press information center confirmed on Dec. 2.

Erdogan, upon the invitation of Greece's President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, will embark on the two-day official visit, where bilateral relations and regional issues will be discussed.

He will be the first Turkish president to visit Greece in 65 years, reported Hurriyet Daily.

Celal Bayar was the last Turkish president to visit Greece, in 1952.
