TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) – Heading a high-ranking delegation, Askar Myrzakhmetov Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the National Museum of Iran.

The deputy manager of the National Museum of Iran welcomed the delegation and accompanied them through their visit to the museum which started from the building of the Museum of Ancient Iran and ended in the Sassanian empire section. 

Led by docents, Myrzakhmetov visited the remains of the ancient Burnt City, the ancient city of Susa, the Elamite structure Chogha Zanbil, ancient reliefs, the statue of Darius, the statue of Penelope, the salt men of Zanjan province and the Sassanian artifacts and buildings.

Deputy Prime Minister and First vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Myrzakhmetov wrote in the memorial book of the National Museum of Iran: “In the National Museum of Iran, we visited collections of Iranian and world antiquities. Cultural heritage is one of the most important areas on which the two countries can negotiate… it was an interesting visit.”
