Masjedi made the remarks in a press conference during the opening ceremony of Iran’s field hospital in Kut, Iraq. The Iranian official added “we are pleased to present this hospital which offers all kinds of medical treatments for free, to the people of Kut and the pilgrims."
He expressed satisfaction with the current level of economic and cultural cooperation between Iran and Iraq and continued “these collaborations will increase.”
Showing his gratitude toward the hospitality of the people of Kut, the Iranian envoy said “it is predicted that the number of Arbaeen pilgrims would reach up to 3 million people.”
Masjedi specified that certain procedures and regulations are adopted so that no one can enter the country without visa.
