Brigadier-General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces, touched upon the recent statement by three European countries and their voiced concerns over Iran’s missile and defense capabilities, adding “global arrogance has always had the same nature and they are now worried since we changed their game inside the region.”
“Iran’s defense and missile capabilities cannot be negotiated and the country spares no effort to boost defense power in various land, air, sea and missile dimensions,” he continued.
Brig. Gen. Pakpour later recalled that heads of Germany, the UK and France, in a joint statement issued three days earlier, while voicing support for the JCPOA, had expressed concerns towards Iran’s defense and missile program and had called for a relevant joint plan with the US.
The commander went on to stress that Iran’s Army and IRGC had always remained united at various periods.
“Army and IRGC are fully integrated while performing various missions,” underlined Pakpour, concluding that close ties exited between the two bodies in all sectors.
