Khartouran wildlife refuge home to 60 Asiatic cheetahs

SHAHRUD, Oct. 15 (MNA) – Khar Turan National Park or Touran Wildlife Refuge is a National Park in Semnan province, southeast of Shahrud. The place is home to one of the largest populations of the critically endangered Asiatic cheetahs. Currently there are about 60 collars in the world, all of which are living in Iran.
