"Both countries of Iran and Ukraine enjoy huge capacities and potentials to develop and extend relations and cooperation,” said Parliament's General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian during his meeting with Ukrainian ambassador to Tehran on Monday.
He made the remarks voicing readiness of Iranian parliament for taking measures to enhance bilateral relations voicing hope that increased parliamentary efforts would lead in stronger relations. Referring to lack of visa issuance body and financial brokering bodies for the citizens of the two countries he called for removing of barriers on the path to develop bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade and economy.
“The protraction of war in Yemen has led to an atmosphere prone to development of terrorism while Saudi Arabia is still insisting on militancy as the solution of the crisis,” asserted the Iranian official, “they do not think of political solution for the problem.”
Regretting the situation of Muslims in Myanmar, He said “the concerns of the Islamic Republic of Iran are rooted in two things; firstly what we are witnessing in Myanmar is a textbook example of organized genocide practiced against Muslims, and secondly is the fact which is not irrelevant to our region and that is the point that war and insecurity in the World of today will yield in more terrorism which is harmful for the region and the whole world.”
