“The US’s hostile measures aim at both violating the JCPOA in some way and expanding the scope of their unjust sanctions [against Iran],” Judiciary Head Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani said Monday, adding “this indicates that the US has not learned anything from the great Iranian nation and has forgotten that these people persisted for years under economic problems and during the Imposed War.”
“Today more than ever, the Islamic Republic’s establishment and the Iranian nation are shining brilliantly in the region,” he added.
Amoli Larijani went on to stress that all government, parliamentary and judiciary officials in Iran will make a united and firm response to US hostile measures against the country.
Elsewhere, the Judiciary head noted the recent Israeli moves in Palestine and the escalation of pressure and lockdown on the Palestinian people, adding “the Zionist occupier regime seeks to change the legal status of the al-Aqsa mosque, while heads of Muslim states seem to be in deep slumber and having forgotten the Palestinian issue.”
He went on to add, “of course, this is exactly the kind of policy that the Zionist regime had been after for years by making attempts to marginalize the Palestinian issue through fabricating crises, such as spreading their Iranophibia project.”
“Regrettably, leaders of certain reactionary states in the region have started normalizing their relations with the corrupt and occupying regime instead of gaining an actual insight into the Zionists’ tricks,” he said.
Amoli Larijani further expressed hope that all Muslim countries across the world would come to consider the Palestinian issue as their own and realize that the US is after emptying their pockets and plundering their resources by appearing to be on their side.
