TEHRAN, Jun. 26 (MNA) – In a tweet, Iranian FM Zarif has urged leaders of Muslim countries to take opportunity of Eid al-Fitr to foster peace.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, issued a message on his tweeter account to congratulate world Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr which is celebrated at the end of fasting month of Ramada.

“Happy Eid to all Muslims worldwide. May the leaders of Muslim nations use the occasion to promote peace and unity instead of conflict and discord,” his message reads.

The Iranian FM is slated to fly to Germany and Italy today to exchange views and consult with European authorities.
