TEHRAN, Jun. 15 (MNA) – Iranian FM Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi has forwarded a message of condolences to government and nation of Bangladesh over landslides killing numerous people and causing massive damage in the country’s southeast. 

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi expressed sympathy and condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the natural disaster.

Torrential rains triggered a series of landslides and floods in Bangladesh, killing at least 156 people over two days. Officials have warned death toll may rise as many areas have been cut off by flooding.
