The second largest OPEC producer, Iran, sits atop 11 percent of oil and 18 percent of gas reserves in the world. Every year, the country hosts an international Oil Show in different oil, gas, refining and petrochemical sectors.
Presence of famous foreign companies as well as domestic producers and industrialists provide a good chance for mutual cooperation in view of signature of contracts.
The 22nd edition of the show is scheduled to be held with 4,000 exhibitors from across the globe running 1,800 pavilions in Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
Accordingly, 1,016 pavilions will represent 2,500 Iranian firm while 811 other pavilions will represent nearly 1,500 foreign companies from 37 countries.
The oil show is the biggest energy exhibition in the Middle East in terms of the number of participants and size.
Exhibitors from China, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Austria, South Korea, the US, and Australia are to run stalls at the 4-day showcase which will conclude on May 09.
