“While the European Union is made up of a collection of 27 independent countries, it follows the policies of the US and the Zionist lobby, so the extension of anti-Iran sanctions carries no credibility,” said the chairman of the Iranian Parliament's Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, on Friday, in reaction to the extension of anti-Iran sanctions of the EU.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has become the symbol of fighting terrorism in the region and the world, and everybody in the world is now familiar with this stance of Iran,” noted the Iranian senior law-maker. “In war against terrorism, we have lost many Jihadist figures and we will not allow the sinister behavior of terrorism to spread.”
The senior legislator asserted that terrorism is overtly and covertly supported by the US in a bid to put the region in chaos.
